· Kindergarten Orientation is Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.
· New Student Orientation is Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
· Teacher Summer Letters are now posted under News on the Lore School Web-site.
· Lore School Memory Books have arrived please stop by the main office to pick up your copy. If you would like to purchase a Memory Book the cost is $25.00 and your check should be payable to the Lore Parent Association.

Instant Alert Reminder – Please keep all IA phone numbers and contact information current. When adding additional contacts to the IA profile (people who pick up students on early closings, etc.) they should only select them to receive “high importance” messages, not to receive school activity notices, general info notices.

Please visit the District Information/Ewing Public Education Channel page of the website for a current play list. The videos play continuously 24 hours a day (except during WZBN programming on Channel 19). New videos will be placed in the rotation as we tape them. If you are interested in purchasing the video of a concert or event, contact the Superintendent’s Office and we will put you in touch with the district’s videographer.

Food Services Information:
PayForIt is an online web-based payment system for managing student’s meal accounts.
Parents/Guardians choose “NJ - Ewing” on the PayForIt.net website and create a “Guardian Account” by entering parent information and a credit card number (Visa or MasterCard). Checking account information may also be entered for Electronic Check Processing. Parents/Guardians have the option to list and utilize different payment methods (credits cards and checking accounts).
Individual students are placed onto Guardian Accounts by using their student ID numbers. This is an 8 digit number that begins with 20. ID numbers can be found on student’s ID cards or by calling the Food Service Office at (609)538-9800 x7106. Parents/Guardians may also e-mail Food Service at or to obtain ID numbers.
After registration, parents/guardians may place money on account, check their children’s account balances, set-up recurring payments (when a designated balance is reached), sign up for e-mail reminders and request activity reports.
There is a fee associated making online deposits. For a credit card payment, an Internet Convenience Fee of 5.75% will be charged. For an electronic checking transfer, a Transaction Fee of $1.25 will be charged. The funds will generally be available on the student’s accounts within 24 hours. The balance may not update on PayForIt for 48 hours.
Online payments are not required to view account information or set up e-mail options, but a Guardian Account with an associated payment method must first be created. If you have any questions, please call the Food Service Office at (609)538-9800 X7106.
