Webelos to Scout Transition
  • If Webelos have not crossed over to Troops, then Packs should be working with them to crossover in March.
  • Troops welcome onboard parents of Webelos who crossed over.
  • Troops should be forming new 1st year scout patrols
  • Troops should be recruiting parents to become assistant Scoutmasters or Committee members.

Fundraising / Investment in Character ‘IIC’
  • Units should be conducting their IIC Presentations.
  • Mar. 1st Patron Lunch
  • Mar. 28th IIC Report Meeting #2

Advancement
  • Units should be turning in advancement reports on-line.
  • Troops should be conducting a Winter Court of Honor.
  • Webelos should have completed the requirements for the Arrow of Light and turned the information into the Scout office, before crossing over to a Troop.
  • Are all the Cub Scouts on track to earn their appropriate rank in the Spring?

Membership / Re-Chartering
  • Check on the progress of Webelos who transitioned to Troops in January & February.
  • Applications for Webelos who crossover to Troops should be turned into the Council Office.

MarchCamping and Other Programs
  • Make sure new scouts are prepared for cold weather camping.
  • Troops should be promoting Summer Camp, especially to new scouts.
  • Mar. 10th & 24th Naish Adventure Weekend & Wilderness First Aid Training

Unit Service Needs and Journey to Excellence
  • Log Unit Contacts in Commissioner Tools
  • Encourage units to log service hours
  • Work with units to establish goals and complete the JTE worksheet for 2018

District Specific
  • Invite COR’s from each unit to attend the monthly District Committee or Commissioner meetings.

Program Planning / Advanced Lookout/IYOS
  • Blue & Gold Banquets / Spring Recruitment Planning
  • Units should be planning their IYOS meetings for 2018
