o Regular membership. open to all eligible persons who are 18 years of age and older;

o Junior membership. open to all persons 10-17 years of age. Junior members may not vote, hold office, and not be a Director of the Club. At age 18, a junior member in good standing may become a Regular member.

o Renewed membership. open to all previous members of Lone Star Whippet Club who have not consecutively renewed their memberships annually. Please indicate lapse date:

DURATION OF MEMBERSHIP AND ANNUAL DUES:

All approved and accepted LSWC memberships are considered active, single, annual memberships which begin June 1 and expire May 31 of each year. Annual membership dues are $10.00 per active regular or junior membership. LSWC does not offer a family membership.

CONDITIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP:

Applicants must own, or have immediate family that owns, a Whippet. Each applicant shall read and accept LSWC’s Constitution and By-Laws; furthermore, by applying for membership, each applicant agrees to abide by LSWC’s CODE OF ETHICS. Let it be understood that any person who will sell a dog or dogs to a pet store or wholesale commercial outlet shall be removed automatically from the files of the Lone Star Whippet Club. The Board of Directors upon written request may review such cases.
