Public Hearing – To consider alleged violations of the terms of the Home Occupation Use Permits granted to Robert J. Lind and Denise Lind, 1445 Neal Avenue North, West Lakeland. The hearing involves two separate Home Occupation Permits issued to the Linds. One permit relates to storage and hours of operation of an event bus or busses stored on the Lind property. One permit relates to storage of equipment and landscaping materials on the Lind property relating to a landscape/excavation business. The Town has received complaints relating to both permits and there are allegations of violations of the terms of both permits.

This permit shall become null and void if work or construction authorized is not commenced within

180 days, or if construction or work is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days at any

time after work is commenced”

Storage sheds have increased to 200 sq. ft. –

The size where permits are required for tool and storage sheds and similar structure has been in-

creased to 200 sq. ft. from 120 sq. ft. A deck not more than 30 inches above grade and not

attached to a structure with a frost foundation is still exempt from permits”
