KC CHEER FUNDRAISING 2013-2014

Sign up information:

PUMPKIN PATCH SIGN UPS: Sign ups open JULY 1!

Once you have indicated that you would like to work the pumpkin patch I will add you as an employee to the whentowork.com website. (If you worked the Pumpkin Patch last year you can use your same sign in information) To sign up see below:

· You will receive an email from whentowork.com indicating you have been added to the system as an employee. This email will also contain your sign on information

· You may then go to the website whentowork.com and click on the re “sign In” button at the top left of the screen.

· After you are signed in you can then look at the schedule to see what shifts are available. Each shift will be listed with how much it pays. If the position is a teen an adult may sign up for this shift, but no teenager may sign up for a shift if it does not say “teen”. (Teens are 16-18 years old)

· Cancelation: You may drop a shift by going to the trade board. However until the shift is picked up it is still your responsibility. Please make sure you are dropping shifts at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled work day. You may pick up shifts of the trade board. Check this often as shifts are often available.

· There are times that the Pumpkin Patch may schedule “work days” at the last minute, so please look for emails or check the site often.

· In order to be able to work the patch you must contact me, Rebecca Raya email: in order to be added as an employee to the whentowork,com website.

What to wear: Weather appropriate clothing! You are out in the elements so tennis shoes and layers work best! Payment: for the Pumpkin Patch is the 1st of November. Your booster club account will be credited one time in November. Shifts range from $55 to $70 per shift. Notes: DO NOT FORGET TO SIGN IN WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO WORK YOUR SHIFT! LUNCH IS PROVIDED!

CROWD SYSTEMS:

This is a year long opportunity to work events such as Cricket Wireless concerts, KU football & basketball games, Music Hall events etc. These events usually pay approximately $8 an hour and jobs include taking tickets, usher and security.

FUNDRAISING NOTES:

Funds earned

· All funds earned through the booster club are credited to your booster club account. These funds may be transferred to your KC Cheer account by request to pay for travel, camps and practice wear or uniforms. You may ask Mary Lewis to request funds to be transferred.

· All funds usually credit to your account no more than 30-45 days after an event with exception of the Pumpkin Patch. These funds will be credited in November and you will be paid for all shifts worked at this time.

· Any funds left in your booster club account cannot be refunded to you at any time if you chose to leave the gym. Any funds remaining in your account become property of the booster club abandon accounts.

· YOU MUST PAY YOUR BOOSTER CLUB DUES BEFORE YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN ANY FUNDRAISING!
