Job Title: Account Executive, New Business Development

Job Description:
North American Precis Syndicate (NAPS) is seeking an Account Executive, New Business Development to join its sales staff. This individual is responsible for selling news distribution, communications solutions, and multimedia tools to companies, associations and Public Relations agencies. The role's primary emphasis will focus on new business development (as opposed to maintenance of existing accounts). Through new revenue generation via new client acquisition, the expectation is to make significant office growth contribution.

This position requires a concentration on consultative outreach initiatives to prospects via telephone, email, social media tactics, online meetings/webinars and in-person appointments. Involvement in external professional industry organizations and events for the promotion of services will also be required.

Job Requirements:
Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a history of new business development and successful execution of sales strategies. Excellent presentation, communication, networking and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as strong business development and account management skills. BA/BS degree strongly preferred. Familiarity with public relations, media markets and social media are a plus, as well as past involvement with industry associations.
