Reports To: / Waste Supervisor and Facilities Manager / Lateral Relationships: / Facilities Team
Job Role Objective:
Ensure all retail and leisure partners waste is removed and recycled in a timely and safe manner.
Key Result Areas/ Main Responsibilities: / Knowledge, Training, Education and Work Experience Requirements:
1.  Transfer our retail and leisure partners waste to compactors and bailers to maximize the amount of waste re-cycled
2.  Help educate retailers into the importance of waste management, whilst continuing to educate our retailers into the importance of waste management
3.  Operate compactors, bailers and fork lift trucks in a safely manner and ensure that the loading bay area is clean and tidy at all times
4.  Report any acts of vandalism, misuse and abuse of equipment to your Supervisor
5.  Support the Bio Fuel initiative
6.  Ensure that the highest quality standards are applied in all areas of day to day activity to satisfy and maintain company standards and quality
7.  Deliver a high standard of customer service ensuring all our customers receive a world class experience
8.  Attend any training and development courses as and when necessary
9.  Familiarise yourself and comply with Liverpool ONE’s health and safety policies and procedures
10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures
11. Undertake any other responsibilities as required to meet the needs of the business / Desirable:
Fork Lift Truck License
Compactor/ Baler experience
Previous waste collection experience
Basic literacy and numeracy skills / Essential:
COSHH Training or willingness to work towards
