Who Should Apply

UW-Eau Claire College of Business majors (accounting, business administration, business economics, finance, information systems, management, marketing) with financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and/or members of any of the following American ethnic minority groups: African-American, American Indian, Southeast Asian, or Hispanic American.

Criteria

·  Junior or Senior status and admission to the College of Business as of Fall 2016

·  Full-time student standing (12+ credits) during the Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 semesters

·  Good academic standing

·  GPA of at least 2.75

·  Involvement or leadership within the University or with University clubs, activities, or student societies or organizations

Application Procedures

Please submit the following information to the College of Business Scholarship Committee, Schneider Hall 110 by Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 4 PM:

·  Completed application form (see the reverse side of this announcement)

·  Academic (unofficial ) academic transcript

·  Resume showing evidence of involvement in student organizations, academic excellence, and leadership

An incomplete application packet will disqualify a student from scholarship consideration.

Selection Procedures

The College of Business Scholarship Committee will review the applications in consultation with the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Financial Aids Office.

Special Notes

This scholarship was created in 2002 by the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company and its parent company, the SAB Miller Brewing Company, to honor Leinenkugel’s, one of the Chippewa Valley’s oldest businesses, and to demonstrate both companies’ commitment to students and scholarship. Scholarship recipients should direct a letter of appreciation to Mr. Dick Leinenkugel, in care of Gretchen Hutterli, Chair of the Scholarship Committee, UW-Eau Claire College of Business-Schneider Hall 110.
