ADMINISTRATION

PERSONAL FINANCE – GRAD REQUIREMENT

Please remember that as a part of your graduation requirement you're required to complete the RJUHSD online Personal Finance Course. This class must be completed in order to graduate. We recommend starting this course now and completing it sooner rather than later... don't put it off. If you have questions, please see your counselor or Mrs. Price.

CLUB / STUDENT BODY

CLASS PRESIDENT

Ever thought about serving as class president? If you think you would be great, we think you would be great. Packets are available in M-2 and must be completed by Monday, March 6th. Please see Mr. Moore if you have any questions.

CHORAL FESTIVAL

On Friday, March 10th, we will be participating in our first ever/first annual RJUHSD District-Wide Choral Festival. The concert will be held at Woodcreek HS on 3/10/17 and will feature performances by Oakmont, Granite Bay, Antelope and Woodcreek HS choirs, with a couple of special numbers by the combined (mass) choirs at the end. VERY EXCITING big night of choir!!!!!!

JUNIOR PROM

Class of 2018, Junior Prom is around the corner and your class needs your help nominating the most awesome juniors to become Prom Queen and King. There are two ways to nominate and you can nominate twice if you take advantage of both. The first way is through Naviance, which is available 24/7. The second way is through the 5-Star app which we launched at the beginning of this semester. If you need help with either of the systems, come by M-2 during lunch.

RALLY

Let's make our 2nd to last rally of the year the best one yet. You can cast your vote for a rally theme using both 5-Star Students or Naviance. Last day to cast your vote is tomorrow. You have three awesome themes to choose from: Nautical/Ocean, Superhero and Meme. After Tuesday we will announce the theme and if you are interested in designing decorations or even what will happen at the rally come to M-2 to share your ideas.

PENNIES FOR PATIENTS

Today we start our second week of Pennies for Patients. I hope you brought in all the coins you found, and donations you collected, over the weekend! Last year we raised $2500, this year we want to raise even more. Do you think it will take a long time to fill your box? Let's see if your 2nd period class can be the first one. Pizza Paradise is within your reach!!!

CLASS OFFICERS

Today is the last day to submit your class officer elections packet. If you are interested in running but just decided today, it might not be too late. Class officers play a pivotal role in making your time here as a Viking incredible. Come see Mr. Moore in M-2 to get dialed into making a difference.

O-ZONE

O-Zone is designed to support all Vikings! Help us make that true by attending the O-Zone Swim match this Thursday. The meet begins at 4 pm and we plan to get rowdy. Free candy for any Viking in white. We will also be 5-Star scanning to earn points that will get you more free prizes.
