Fulfillment Warehousing Specialist Position opening

Freight Dynamics, an extremely innovative, fast growing Worldwide Logistics and Fulfillment Company located in Plymouth, MN has an immediate vacancy for a Fulfillment Warehousing Specialist position.

We provide worldwide shipping services via ocean, air and ground to customers from all over the world. We also offer nationwide packaging & crating services. Fulfillment and warehousing is a local service only in our Plymouth, MN location where we warehouse our customer’s inventory and provide pick pack and ship services to them upon request. Job duties would consist of:

· Answering the Phones – speaking with customers in a very calm personable manner, ascertaining their needs and responding applicably.

· Light Warehouse Duties – Assist with packaging, bubble wrapping, shrink wrapping, and palletizing freight shipments. Could include crating if experienced, and driving dock truck.

· Organizing and compiling information, then shipping – This particular job entails weighing the shipments, obtaining their dimensions (HWL) and processing them to ship via multiple carriers. Providing tracking information to customers with links to carriers, and internally managing tracking of details and costs in database.

· Order Fulfillment Processing – confirm emailed orders from customers, pick pack and ship according to customer SOP. Complete shipping airbill or request online. Provide reports to customers and tracking info as stated in SOP.

· Shipment Quoting – Customers who call in requesting quotes for air, ground or ocean shipping as well as custom packaging services. You will be trained and have a quote sheet to follow along to, quotes are emailed in certain formats so they are tracked.

· Routing and Alerting – Shipments that are time sensitive, oversized, fragile or geographically challenging require a special handling and shipping. You would be trained to select the appropriate vendor and carrier from our database that best fit the customer needs and company profitability. You would issue shipping instructions and provide routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated. Make sure all paperwork is filled out correctly and completely, schedule the pick-up. Notify customer – follow company policy and customer SOP.

· Daily Monitor & track shipments – Monitor carriers and delivery schedules so that all shipments are delivered on time without incidence by tracking shipments daily to ensure delivery and expedite shipments when necessary. Document proof of delivery on BOL and update company database.

· Consult and advise clients and/or potential clients on service questions, quotes, and general questions that will serve their needs. As well as educate and recommend services and options to customers.

Qualifications: - A Min. of 2 years prior experience in transportation industry desired.

· Must be computer proficient and have experience with Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft XP/Office.

· Must be organized, excellent with time management, multi tasker who is very detail oriented, with great problem solving skills.

· Must be a self starter with strong work ethic, dependable, work well independently and as a team, warm personality, and a great listener with a pleasant phone voice.

· Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills for effective interacting with all internal and external contacts.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive & demanding work environment.
