How to Redeem Your PCL Online Content Codes

Your Pearson Custom Library redemption codes can be redeemed through the Pearson eContent Web site www.pearsonecontent.com.

Once you’ve accessed the above site, click on the “Redeem Codes” button on the orange bar near the bottom of the screen. This will bring you to the following page:

On the “Redeem Codes” page, enter your assigned redemption code in the appropriate field and click “Search”. You do not need to enter anything in the other search fields. You should receive a pop-up similar to the one below, indicating your ISBN record:

Confirm the content looks correct and then click the “Redeem” button above. This will add the selection to your shopping cart. Once it’s been added, click the “Checkout” button on the “Redeem Codes” page.

After clicking “Checkout,” you will be presented with the “Review Cart Details” screen below:

This lists all the basic details about your content, including the title, price (free), and how many days you may access the material. If everything looks as it should, click “Next” to advance the record to the following screen:

This screen will list some other recommended texts that may also be of interest, based on your selections. If you’re done browsing other content, click the “Checkout” button to continue. You will then be prompted to login-in to your account, as shown below:

Simply enter your username and password if you have accessed the site previously. If you’re a first-time user, you’ll need to register for free, then log-in with your new credentials. NOTE: enter your zip code to access the “My School” field.

After you’ve logged in, you will be taken to the “Thank You” page, which confirms that your codes were redeemed successfully, as seen below:

A confirmation email will also be sent to the email address you provided when setting up your account.

Now that you’d redeemed your code, you may now access you content via the “My Bookshelf” portion of the site within your account, seen below:

From here you can view your content digitally by clicking the “Read Online” button, or you may download the PDF to your computer by clicking the “Download” button. Both options can be found next to the thumbnail for you text.

It is strongly advised that update your Adobe Reader and plug-ins before viewing or downloading your content. To update your software for free, click the “Downloading Instructions” button above on your “My Bookshelf” page. That will direct you to links for a free download of the newest Adobe software and plug-in.

Your content will be accessible digitally for the number of days listed on your “My Bookshelf” page. You can also see how many downloads you have remaining for your content on this page, as well.
