With Novell GroupWise

1. Log in to the GroupWise email account.

3. In the Mailbox Storage Size Information window, the amount of space available to the user can be viewed here. In order to free up storage space, emails that are large in size should be deleted if they are no longer needed.

Note: Large email attachments should be saved to the U:\ drive folder. Click the Close button on the right side of the window to return to the main Mailbox window.

4. Scroll through the User’s Mailbox, Sent Items, and Junk Mail on the left side of the screen by clicking on any of these menu headings. Add the Size column to any of these view windows by right clicking on the grey space for the column headings and clicking Size. The Size column heading is now added. Sort ascending on the Size column by right clicking and clicking Sort Ascending. This will sort the email file size from smallest to largest.

5. Once an email is confirmed as being no longer needed, highlight the email by clicking on it. Then press the Delete button on the keyboard to delete the email and send it to the trash. The count next to the Trash icon should increase.

Note: To highlight multiple emails in a row, click the first email and hold down the Shift button on the keyboard while clicking the last email in a row. To highlight multiple emails in random order, click the first email and hold down the Ctrl button on the keyboard while clicking the other email messages. Then delete the emails by typing the Delete key on the keyboard.

6. Repeat these steps until all unwanted emails are removed.
