Hello J My name is Ruby and I am 9 years young.

Sadly I need a new forever loving home L my Mummy & Daddy stopped loving each other and parted ways. They have never stopped loving me, and Dad does in fact come to look after me every day while Mum is at work full time during the day – Dad works nights, so Mum is at home then, but Dad is moving away so I will then be on my own all day – I have tried to be OK about it and to be fair Mum has given me several tries at being left at home alone – But I hate it and I HOWL all the time she’s not with me. The neighbours have complained and now Mum has to do something about it. It’s a horrible situation to be in L as Mum has to work to be able to live and pay the rent ect. If I tell you about myself then you might be able to help me, as I am a good girl in every other way.

I am good around children aged 7 plus, the tiny children worry me and I go and hide. I haven’t lived with tiny children, but I do get to see Mum’s Nieces & Nephews aged 6 up-wards, and I am very good around them.

I LOVE other dogs and get on well with them all – I love to have a run around and play with them. My re-call is good off lead, that’s until I get distracted J and then it can take a bribe to get me back on the lead – after all if you’re having fun then why would I want to stop it J

I had better confess right now and tell you I Hate Cats, and I will chase them and scare them, it’s something I have done right from being a puppy, but its better I am honest with you.

I am not destructive when left at home on my own, all I do is HOWL, and I howl because I hate being on my own for so long. If you had another dog for companionship I wouldn’t howl so much, you can leave me with another dog for a couple of hours without any bother. I do have the run of the home as I am not destructive; I sit in one of the armchairs or sofa just waiting for you to come home.

If someone knocks on the door I do let you know as I will bark, and when whoever comes in, I don’t jump up them, I wait for them to make a fuss of me and wiggle my back end. I am a little nervous and quite timid; I’m not one of those dogs that are full on. I am a kind girl and a placid girl and when asked I will do ‘sit’ and ‘wait’ and I am sociable with you hoomans and other dogs. When we first go out for a walk, I will pull on my lead (I’m just excited to be going out) but I very soon calm down and walk nicely beside you, I can pull a bit more when we come to an open space as I know I will be let off my lead for a good run-a-round, but again that is down to excitementJ .

I am used to nipping on Mum’s bed when I first go to bed, but very quickly I get off and either sleep in my own bed, in the bedroom, or slip downstairs and fall asleep on the sofa or armchair.

I am at present being fed on a dry food complete called Wagg, I sometimes have a little tinned meat included, but not often. I am used to my food being left down all day and Auntie Dawn says that is so wrong to feed me like this, but my Mummy has to do this, as she is out at work for so many hours and she doesn’t want me to get hungry. Ideally I should have two meals a day of a good quality food that will give me all the nourishment I need in my senior years. Mmmm I like the sound of that J

I am spayed; micro chipped and as we speak I am being brought up-to date on my vaccinations.

I do have some belongings of my own that will come with me. All I want is to be loved and cared for; I am in excellent health with no hidden agendas. Please will you be my new Mummy and or Daddy and love me, I promise to love you back XXXX

Love Ruby
