FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Heartwarming for the whole family
Beloved film comes to life at Beef & Boards through Nov. 20
INDIANAPOLIS – As the days grow cooler, bring the family together and cozy up with a classic as Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre presents It’s A Wonderful Life, the stage adaptation of the famous Frank Capra film.
Loved for generations, It’s A Wonderful Life takes us on George Bailey’s lifelong journey of selfless compassion. But after years of caring for everyone else in his life, George reaches his breaking point on a cold Christmas Eve. Just when he is ready to give up, George discovers how wonderful his life truly is – with a little help from his unforgettable guardian angel, Clarence.
On stage through Nov. 20, this remarkable story reminds us to appreciate the simple joys, even when the world’s demands get in the way. The ring of a bell. Flower petals in a pocket. The love of family. The support of friends. These fill our hearts and lives with joy, and teach us to value what is truly important – and what makes this a wonderful life.
Sean Patrick Hopkins makes his Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre debut in the iconic role of George Bailey. He is joined by fellow newcomer Betsy DiLellio as Mary Hatch. Eddie Curry plays George’s lovable guardian angel Clarence, while Douglas E. Stark plays the miserly Mr. Potter, and Jeff Stockberger is the forgetful Uncle Billy Bailey.
There are 46 performances of It’s A Wonderful Life scheduled in the intimate space of Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre. Tickets range from $36 to $59, and include Chef Odell Ward’s dinner buffet, coffee and tea. Discounts are available for children and groups of 20 or more. Parking is free.
For reservations, call the Beef & Boards Box Office at 317.872.9664. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays.
