Haskayne Student Levy Committee Funding Application 2015/2016

Introduction

The Haskayne School of Business Student Endowment Fund was established with funds collected by the Students’ Union through a Haskayne School of Business student levy between 2001 and 2005. The Haskayne School of Business Student Levy Committee (HSLC) was established by the Students’ Legislative Council to allocate funding to student-led initiatives related to student research and scholarship, teaching enhancements, and student activities.

The HSLC allocates available funds to innovative undergraduate student-led initiatives, projects, activities and events in the Haskayne School of Business that:

a)  Enhance student life on campus;

b)  Provide research-based, experiential learning opportunities; or

c)  Enhance leadership potential.

The committee makes funding decisions in the interest of increasing access and affordability for undergraduate students.
