GENERAL SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS
1 THE MEETING:
The meeting shall be a multi club motorkhana conducted under the provisions of the International Sporting Code of the FIA, the National Competition Rules (NCR) of the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Ltd. (CAMS), the National Motorkhana Code, CAMS Motor Sport Passenger Ride Activity Policy, these Supplementary Regulations and any Further Regulations issued by the promoter. The event will be conducted under and in accordance with the CAMS OH&S and Risk Management Policies, which can be found at www.cams.com.au
A Come Try component of the event will also be conducted on Saturday 9 DECEMBER 2017 under the CAMS Come Try
Policy, these Regulations and any Further Regulations issued (see Appendix 1).

Entries must be on the official entry form and, preferably, emailed to with payment by EFT to Pakenham Auto Club bank account :BSB 033-636 Account No 711052, including the reference – your NAME and DEC MK (copy of the EFT Payment Receipt to accompany entry form). An entry without proof of payment will not be accepted (same applies to reduced fee for early entry).”

Seniors
· $20 for entries received (with full payment) by 8pm on 8 DECEMBER 2017.
· $30 for entries received thereafter
Junior (over 12 but under 18)
· $10 for entries received (with full payment) by 8pm on 8 DECEMBER 2017.
· $15 for entries received thereafter

Entries withdrawn prior to 8pm on 8 December 2017 will receive a full refund; for withdrawals after that time we will retain 50% of the entry fee to cover administrative costs.
Up to 5 drivers may compete in any one car, provided that this is indicated on the entry form. A maximum of 60 entries will be accepted, in order of receipt. The promoter reserves the right to refuse any entry in accordance with NCR 83 and to cancel the meeting if, in its opinion, insufficient entries are received in accordance with NCR 59. Certain public, property, professional indemnity and personal accident insurance is provided by CAMS in relation to the event. 8 DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:
All drivers are required to be a member of a CAMS Affiliated Club, hold a minimum of a CAMS Level 2NS/J Licence and must wear adequate (fully enclosed) footwear whilst competing. Drivers of cars to which no windscreen is fitted must wear adequate eye protection. Drivers of vehicles classified as specials must wear a helmet which complies with AS 1698 and carries markings to that effect or otherwise be of a standard listed in the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport and appropriately marked to that effect and be deemed by the scrutineers of the event to be in a suitable condition for motor sport use. All apparel shall comply with Schedule D of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport (http://docs.cams.com.au/Manual/GeneralRequirements/GQ05-Schedule-D-2016-1.pdf); essentially a minimum of shirt (may be short sleeved) and shorts with enclosed shoes—drivers of specials must wear a suitable helmet.
9 PASSENGERS:
During competition, not more than one passenger may be carried per competing vehicle. Passengers must be aged at least 12 years and be a competitor or have completed a passenger declaration (Passengers Entry form) and be securely restrained by a seat belt (in accordance with Schedule I). A passenger may be prohibited from taking any further part at the discretion of the Clerk of Course.
10 PROGRAMME:
Scrutiny: 8.30 to 9.30 am Entries close 9.30 am Compulsory drivers briefing: 9.45 am Competition starts: 10.00 am
Event finishes: approx. 4.30 pm. No new test will be started after 4pm.
10 SCRUTINY:
Vehicles must comply with the Schedule A and Group 4H "Motorkhana Cars" of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport. Current club membership card, CAMS licence and CAMS vehicle logbook (if issued) must be presented. All vehicles must comply with a maximum noise limit of 94dBa as determined by the scrutineer. Wintertread, hand cut or rally type tyres will not be permitted. Fuel must be in accordance with Schedule G of the CAMS Manual of Motor Sport.
11 THE EVENT:
The surface will be dirt/grass. The event will consist of a minimum of three tests, some may be selected from the National Motorkhana Code, but most are designed to provide a different challenge. Test dimensions may be varied from the specified minima. Timing will be by two stop watches, one electronic to record the official time, and one manual as a backup time should the official time fail. Officials appointed to each test are Judges of Fact with respect to penalties as prescribed in the NMC.
12 CLASSES/CATEGORIES
Class A: Production cars: wheelbase up to 2450 mm, 2WD engine over drive, or mid-engine
Class B: Production cars: wheelbase up to 2450 mm, 2WD engine away from drive
Class C: Production cars: wheelbase 2451mm and over, 2WD engine over drive or mid-engine
Class D: Production cars: wheelbase 2451mm and over, 2WD engine away from drive
Class E: Production cars: AWD or 4WD Class F: Specials
Category J: Juniors
Category L: Ladies
Juniors are defined as at least 12 years of age on the day of competition and less than the 18 years of age on 1 January in the year of competition. Documentation substantiating age may be required by the Event Director
Specials will be defined as in Section 13 Group 4H, Article 3 of the NCRs
The organisers reserve the right to combine classes of less than three entries.
13 AWARDS:
Will be in the form of trophies for first in each class, and second in classes with 5 or more entries.
14 CLUB CARS:
Club cars are available to junior competitors only, at a fee of $10-00 per day. Juniors wishing to use a club car must book same, by phoning the event secretary prior to the close of early entries (8pm on 8 December). There are a limited number of club cars available to competitors. It is advisable to book early as Club cars will be allocated to competitors in order of receipt of applications.
15 PENALTIES:
(a) Test penalties shall be imposed as per the Motorkhana Code, and/or as described in the test diagrams.
(b) Excessive speed and/or dangerous activity in the pits, any abusive behaviour: Exclusion from the meeting.
16 PROTESTS:
Must be made in accordance with NCR Part XII.
17 ALCOHOL, DRUGS AND OTHER SUBSTANCES:
Any holder of a CAMS ‘Competition’ or ‘Officials’ licence (or equivalent licence issued by another ASN) may be tested for the presence of drugs (or other banned substances) and subject to a penalty(ies) for a breach in accordance with the CAMS Anti- Doping Policy and/or the CAMS Illicit Drugs in Sport (Safety Testing) Policy as published on the CAMS website. Consumption of alcohol in the paddock, pits or any section of the competition venue/course under the control of the Officials is forbidden until all competition is concluded each day. Accordingly, any holder of a CAMS ‘Competition’ or ‘Officials’ licence (or equivalent licence issued by another ASN) may also be tested for the presence of alcohol by a CAMS Accredited Testing Official (CATO) in accordance with the CAMS Standard Operating Procedure for Breath Alcohol Testing.
18 PHOTOGRAPHY:
By entering the event, a participant gives permission for PAC to photograph or video him or her participating in this event and to use that image in promoting or advertising the Club and its activities including but not limited to Club Magazine, Club Website, articles for inclusion in news and other media. Similarly a parent/guardian gives permission in relation to his or her minor.
19 CATERING:
Food and drink will be available at the venue.
20 FORCE MAJEURE:
The organisers reserve the right to postpone or abandon the event in accordance with NCR 59.
