CONCERN IS ALSO EXPRESSED OVER THE ADVERSE AFFECT ON THE AMENITY OF THE NEIGHBOURING PROPERTIES WHICH IS EXACERBATED BY THE REARWARD PROJECTION AND SLOPING LAND TO THE REAR. POLICIES 69 (i), 70 PREAMBLE, (i), (vi) AND (viii) OF THE DISTRICT PLAN REFERS.
CONCERN IS EXPRESSED OVER THE INSUFFICIENT PROPOSED PARKING PROVISION FOR THE DWELLING SIZE AND THE NATURE OF THE PROPOSED PARKING ON THE SITE. POLICIES 40 AND 70 (iv) OF THE DISTRICT PLAN REFERS.
THE COMMITTEE WOULD LIKE TO STRESS THE IMPORTANCE OF THE RETENTION OF THE MATURE TREES ON THE BOUNDARY OF THE SITE WITH NO. 10 & 12 BROADFIELDS, WHICH CURRENTLY AFFORDS SCREENING BETWEEN THE PROPERTIES AND THE DEVELOPMENT SITE. POLICIES 70 (v) AND 74 OF THE DISTRICT PLAN REFERS.
