Feel free to include aspects of your every-day professional life, any special projects or initiatives in which you have been/are involved and/or specific honors or accomplishments. You may wish to include creative innovations you have introduced, professional or volunteer organizations that you have served with dedication, articles or books you have written or recordings you have made, or awards that you have received. Receiving an Honorary Doctorate is an important personal milestone. The awarding of this degree is also an opportunity for the College-Institute to share with the greater Jewish community the successes of its graduates and to “promote service to the Jewish community” as a meaningful professional option. To these ends, we would like to send press releases that recognize you, as well as describe the College-Institute, its history and programs, to newspapers (Jewish and secular), publications and organizations in your community.
