The human resource officer is the most important part of a company. He or she plays a very important role in operating it successfully without its employees. The HR Director is the one who oversees the company’s hiring process. There are many other tasks to fulfill from hiring of employees to planning of the retirement plans of the employees.
Duties and Responsibilities
There are the following duties and responsibilities which have to be fulfilled by a Hr director:
· He or she has to select the employees who fulfill the required criteria.
· It will be the duty to understand the company’s policies and guidelines properly.
· The duty includes the planning of the marketing strategies and implements them when needed.
· He or she has the responsibility to prepare the strategies which would help the employees perceive company’s mission and work accordingly.
· A HR director needs to ensure the superior quality of the candidates for hiring them after a good amount of screening and scrutinizing.
· It will be also the duty to plan and organize the employee recruitment processes.
· He or she has to have the required knowledge of the company commissions, health care matters etc to select candidates who take care of the company’s needs.
· The director needs to improve the morale of the employees for the progress of a company.
Skills and Specifications
The required skills and specifications are as follows:
· The person needs to be very knowledgeable about all the different aspects of the hiring and firing processes of the employees of the company.
· He or she needs to be an excellent communicator and should have the skills both verbally and written.
· He or she should be capable of organizing the things properly and perfectly.
· The person should have exceptional trouble shooting skills and should be a good Problem Solver.
· He or she should be very highly courteous and motivated to do the job.
Education and Qualifications
· The person should have a Bachelors or master’s degree in administration or management.
· He or she should be specialized in human resource from an accredited institution.
· It will be added as an advantage for the person having at least five years of past working experience in related field.
