GO GREEN AWARD AT DURBAN SHOW

Good for the Ground recently exhibited at the Good Food and Wine Show in Durban and received the Go-Green Award for their stand.

The Go-Green Award is a new initiative to encourage green initiatives in food and wine. This award was presented at the show on Saturday evening and Iona Palmer was there to collect it. “This is a very exciting time for Good for the Ground and for environmentally friendly packaging. We are offering a new way to pack, for both in the home and commercial use, and we are grateful to receive this award recognizing this”.

Though the film originates in France the production of the bags, sleeves and stickers is all proudly South African. RRP Large= R22 Small = R14 per pack of 10.

Good for the Ground packaging received the Green Packaging award in the Real Simple Magazine Green Innovations Awards in April 2008. At the moment they are available in various delicatessens, Wellness Warehouse, Melissa’s, Stodels Nursery and by mail order direct.

The Good for the Ground film bags are certified as compostable by Din Certco (Reg No 7P0043, 7P0080, 7P0079)
