I am a Health and Safety Professional with a background in managing safety aboard Deepwater drilling units, construction of drill ships, stationary engineering and maintenance. Strengths include assuring the safe and operational efficiency of process whether offshore, within a shipyard or in an auditing/training environment be it in a multi or singular cultural or work setting.

Employment Experience

MacLellan Safety Consulting 2013 – Present

o  Offshore site Safety consultant, working on deep and shallow water projects for Chevron in China and Liberia. Additionally worked for Chevron on land based drilling program in north eastern British Colombia Canada.

Pre campaign key responsibilities included authoring bridging documentation between Chevron and drilling contractors for: Safety Management Systems, Typhoon, Risk and Emergency Management. Also included contractor acceptance survey(s), vessel acceptance and crew competencies. On site responsibilities included ensuring contractor compliance with bridging agreements and promotion of safe work practices while developing a strong safety culture.
