Position: Accounting Specialist

Department: Accounting

Reporting to: Senior Accountant

Description

1 / Maintain inventory updates in accounting systems. Lead monthly/annual inventory counts and make
2 / Maintain fixed asset documentation and complete annual audit.
3 / Set up new parts/costs as needed.
3 / Assist in audit and tax preparation.
4 / Assist in budget preparation annually.
5 / Assist in AR processing and cash application; prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and analysis
6 / Perform other projects or duties as assigned
7 / Assist other FTS departments with accounting issues
8 / Support operations in providing a safe work environment ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements and proper 5S are met and followed in pursuit of company goal of 0 accidents.
9 / Supports operations in maintaining compliance with laws and regulations as relates to employment, safety, environmental, etc.
10 / Promotes positive work environment/good morale through proper 5C.
11 / Perform other duties as assigned
12 / Support ISO activities as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·  Requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

·  Minimum of 2 years in accounting/bookkeeping experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.

·  JD Edwards experience helpful.

·  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

·  Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate a collaborative work style with other departments.
