CLASS 1: Novice Equitation Open to riders under 12
NB Novice rider Equitation is open to any rider under 12 who has never been placed 1st to 3rd in any competition, There is no jumping. Class may be split into on and off lead rein groups if numbers are sufficient
JUMPING CLASSES 2,3,4 and 5 are for 13.3hh upwards inc horses

CLASS 6: 12.2hh and under Novice Jumping (55cm)
CLASS 7: 13.2hh and under Novice Jumping (60cm)
CLASS 8: 12.2hh and under Intermediate Jumping (60cm)
CLASS 9: 13.2hh and under Intermediate Jumping (65cm)
CLASS 10: 12.2hh and under Open Jumping (65cm)
CLASS 11: 13.2hh and under Open Jumping (70cm)
NB Competitors in the show jumping classes may enter 2 classes only, relating to height of pony/horse they are riding, and they must be consecutive, eg either novice and intermediate or intermediate and open.
NB A novice is a horse/pony & rider combination, which has not been placed 1st or 2nd in any show jumping competition. If in doubt, please do not hesitate to ask the organisers.

WORKING HUNTER CLASSES

CLASS 12: Over 14.2hh (85cm)
CLASS 13: 13.3hh to 14.2hh (80cm)
CLASS 14: 12.3hh to 13.3hh (70cm)
CLASS 15: 12.2hh and under (55cm)
NB Working Hunter classes will be judged 50%jumping, 20% suitability and 10% turnout
Spurs are not allowed
The Working Hunter Championship for the 1st and 2nd prize winners will be held at the end of Class 15 in Ring 1
RING 4
CLASS 16: Mini Novice jumping (30cm)
CLASS 17: Nursery Novice Jumping (45cm)
NB competitors in CLASSES 16 and 17 cannot enter any other show jumping classes these classes will be split into on and off lead rein groups Rosettes will be awarded for each group
CLASS 19: Horse and Hound £3
NB Involves a ridden round of 45cm jumps followed by dismounted rider running the same course with the hound

RING 5
Running all day
CLASS 20: Handy Horse/Pony £3
NB The Handy Horse/Pony competition will be timed and rosettes awarded in age groups. Entries will be accepted on the day

Open to riders over 14 years
CLASS 26: Pony Club 90 Eventing Test 2013
Open to riders 14 years and under
CLASS 27: Pony club Introductory Test 2007
Open to riders 10 years and under
CLASS 28: Pony Club Walk and Trot Test 2013
Open to riders 8 years and under
NB these classes will be run under Pony Club rules, dressage tests must be ridden in a snaffle bit with either a cavesson, flash or drop noseband
Whips may be carried and gloves are compulsory

RULES & SPECIAL NOTES
1. Show Jumping, Dressage and Games will be judged under Pony Club Rules 2017. For dress and tack rules please visit The Pony Club website www.pcuk.org under the appropriate discipline. The dressage tests can also be accessed from this website.
2. Spurs are not allowed for Pony Club members without the permission of their DC. Spurs are not allowed in any of the Working Hunter classes.
3. A riding hat must be worn correctly fastened at all times when mounted. Pony Club members must wear a hat that confirms with the Pony Club Hat rule and tagged with the Pony Club hat tag. Non-members are strongly advised to wear a hat that conforms to Pony Club standards.
4. The organisers reserve the right to limit entries to any class and will accept entries on the field unless stated otherwise and only if space permit
5. A novice is a horse/pony & rider combination, which has not been placed 1st or 2nd in any show jumping competition. If in doubt, please do not hesitate to ask the organisers.
6. Entries for classes other than Dressage and Working Hunter may be made on the field . The dressage must be pre-entered to allow test times. The closing date for dressage entries is Tuesday 23rd May 2017. The times will be available on the FHPC website http://branches.pcuk.org/fife/ or Debbie Haig on 07715 940611 from Thursday 25th May 2017
7. No pony or horse may enter more than one height class, eg 12.2, 13.2 or 13.3 upwards inc horses.
8. Show Jumping heights are approximate and are the maximum height in the first round.

Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
The organisers of this show have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be affective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring & must obey the instructions of the organisers & all officials & stewards.
