Feelings from a Sow

Dear Diary, February 1, 2005

Well it has been a really long winter; thank goodness I have been able to keep warm in my brick house! My sisters have even been coming over to stay with me in order to keep warm but it is always fun when they do. We always make slop cake, and paint our nails and just do all the fun things that come along with being a sow. That is a female pig in case you didn’t know! Well I must get back to tending to the fire and cooking before I get to tired.

Dear Diary, February 14, 2005

It has been a few weeks, so let me catch you up! The wolf that lives down the street has asked my sisters and me out on a date, of course we are not that dumb to go! He has not stopped bother us since my sisters have moved in with me to stay warm and safe from the cold. He must really have it bad for us, or he is just trying to get us out and alone at his place so he can kill us and eat us. I am sure he is having a hard time finding food this winter, since after all we don’t get out much! Oh well, it has been nice being flirted with and being paid attention to all the time. So I suppose time will tell what the wolf is really after.

Dear Diary, February 14, 2005

Well it is the second time today that I have written you, but I just had to tell you about how the wolf had went out in the cold to bring my sisters, and I each fire wood. I thought that was extremely sweet, but as you know, that wolf is probably just after one thing! He sees us and sees FOOD! Well that’s fine because we will just keep enjoying all this luxurious treatment, and then if he is after that I will have another thing coming for him. For now though it’s nice to be liked by such a fierce, wild animal! I think I may ask him to dinner one night within the next few weeks.

Dear Diary, February 19, 2005

My sisters are driving me crazy, because they are falling head over heals for the wolf, and for some reason I just think that there is something vicious about him. I keep telling my sisters just to wait and be patient and that a wonderful handsome boar is going to come sweep us each off our feet one day. They just don’t listen, but until then I am just remaining friends with the wolf, and they are going to make their own choices. Lets just hope the old wolf is not just after food because if so, and he hurts one of my sisters, I will have to have some serious paybacks.

So the wolf made his move and asked my youngest sister out! I kept telling Daisy May to wait on the prince charming that was a boar to come, but she just wouldn’t listen! She seemed to be really happy, so maybe the wolf really is being sincere about my little sister.

Dear Diary, February 22, 2005

I am becoming so frustrated with the wolf, he is keeping my youngest sister Daisy May from spending time with us. We miss her and I just feel like there is really something strange going on. I feel like the wolf is keeping her from us that way he can eat her and flee the town before we would know it. Or is he manipulating her with all his sweet talk and she is falling for it? I just try to keep telling myself how happy Daisy May is, I can’t do anything but support her if she is happy. I just wish I knew what was going on in the wolf’s head!

Dear Diary, February 23, 2005

I am worried about my sister, I got word the wolf is talking about a big feast he plans to have. Could it be a feast of my sister? I am on edge trying to read the wolf and what is going on in his head. If anything happens to my baby sister I would never forgive myself. I am going to have to tell her about what I have heard and go from there I guess.

Dear Diary, February 23, 2005

I meet my sister today, Daisy May that is! I mentioned the feast the wolf is planning and she knew nothing of it! Surprise, surprise, did anybody honestly think she would? So I suggested to her to ask the bad wolf about what I heard, and she promised me she would! Thank goodness, now I just hope he doesn’t decide to have the feast tonight!

So Daisy May talked to the bad wolf, and he acted as if he knew nothing about the rumors. They wound up arguing and Daisy May just realized it was too hard to pursue the relationship! She finally ended it just in time at that, because that night the wolf found another sow and cooked her for his feast! Talking about a close call, I always knew something was strange about that wolf! Thank goodness he knew not to mess with us anymore but it all worked out in the end! But bless that little pig’s heart for having its life ended to some mean wolf! Daisy May sure did escape that horrible situation just in the nick of time! Woooooo!

It has been a few weeks since I have taken the time to write, I know I am getting slack! This winter cold is sure allowing me a lot of time with my sisters. I told them that a house made of straw and a house made of sticks was not going to keep the heat in well, when they had their houses built. They just never want to listen to me, I guess they just think I am to much older then them, and don’t really know anything! They found out that the houses had actually collapsed when we had out last big snow, oh well that just gives us more time to have girl talk and all the fun things we get to do as sisters and girls!

The annual BB-Q festival is coming near! Imagine that, we as pigs have to worry about that and the wolf on top of it all! It seems like everybody just can’t get enough of us pigs, haha! I mean honestly what would the world to without us! The humans would not know what to do, without their sausage, and BB-Q, pork chops, and bacon! Anyway, I sure am ready for spring, and the annual pig race that is held in the spring. There are always so many handsome boars that come out to watch. Hopefully, Daisy May as well as my middle sister; Margaret will find them a nice boar. I always worry so much about them and just want them to have the best and be happy!

Well today is my birthday and it has been such a marvelous day. My sisters and I got to go to the pig flee market where I was able to get a lovely hat and an extravagant pink purse. When I returned home my friends had decorated the house and made me one huge slop cake, which was so scrumptious! It was the one of the best days I have had in a while!

So at my party yesterday there was a nice handsome boar, who was a friend to Mr. Frank. Mr. Frank, the local paper has been friends with this boar for a while, they grew up together. That handsome boars name is Eddy, and he is a single bachelor. I am trying not to get my hopes up to much though! Time will tell, I just hope maybe I can get one date.

Dear Diary, March 21, 2005

Since the day after my birthday, I have been out with Eddy every night! I had written a few days ago how Eddy seemed interested. It is so nice to have someone who treats you so well! Enough about me though! Eddy has two brothers and are single, so I think we are going to play match makers. Daisy May and the wolf broke up and poor Margaret is still single. So, Eddy and I have a plan! The annual pig race is coming up so we are going introduce them all! I sure hope it works out! That would be something, sister dating brothers.

I have bee so slack with writing in here! It is because I think I am in love, and I stay so busy. I find myself always wanting to be with Eddy. He is amazing; he cooks for me, brings me flowers, goes on walks with me, and treats me like I am a queen. May 4th is the pig races and Eddy and I have convinced everyone to go, so hopefully the magic will spark! I am so anxious!

Dear Diary, May 4, 2005

Today was the big day! It went wonderful, Daisy May hit it off with Ted and Margaret did as well with Clarence. That was such a wonderful match making, and guess what? Eddy proposed to me at the pig race in front of every pig in town! I told you he was wonderful and I was in love! Some things you just know! It was all really fast I know, but it was like love at first sight. I think we will set the wedding date for later on in the year! I can’t wait to start a life with Eddy and not have to wonder what my future holds.

Dear Dairy, May 5, 2005

Dear Diary, August 10, 2005

Ok, Ok, I know it’s been forever! But I have been planning a wedding and that’s not easy. It is just a few days before our wedding and still so much needs to be done. My sisters are still seeing Eddy’s brothers and are very serious. Who knows maybe there will be a wedding soon for them! I am starting to get butterflies in my stomach because I am so nervous and want everything to go perfect for this special day!

Dear Diary, August 20, 2005

We did it! I am finally married to the boar of my dreams! It was such a wonderful day, and was great getting to spend it with all of our family and friends. I let my sisters have my house and we are going to be living at Eddy’s place. It was so sweet, I will always have heard about fairy tales but now I am living and writing my own!

Dear Diary, August 21, 2005

Well I sure am living happily ever after! Eddy and I want to have little pigs soon to expand our family. As for my sisters, time will only tell but for now they are still very happy with Eddy’s brothers. I can sense two more weddings coming on soon! Wink! So my life has turned out to be its own fairy tale and I am living happily ever after for the rest of my life!
