Fee Schedule

The following fees will be charged by the Union County Conservation District for Erosion and Sediment Pollution Control Plan reviews as authorized by Act 217 – The Conservation District Law. Applications will not be accepted for review without the appropriate fee, completed application form and required plan. This fee schedule will become effective January 1, 2011.

*Project Area is the acreage covered by the E&S plan.

**This fee does not include any other fees such as NPDES.

Procedures:

1.  This fee schedule shall apply to those plans that are submitted to the Union County Conservation District (UCCD) requesting determination of Erosion & Sedimentation plan control adequacy.

2.  All applications that require NPDES permits must submit three checks: One for review/approval of the E&SPC plan made payable to the Union County Conservation District, the other for NPDES permit application made payable to UCCD/Clean Water Fund, the third one for the disturbed acre fee made payable to the Commonwealth of Pa.- DEP.

3.  Each submission of a different project on the same tract of land will be charged according to the fee schedule.

4.  Agricultural plowing and tilling is exempt from the fee schedule.

5.  Fees will be waived for an application filed under the name of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or a governmental subunit of the same.

National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) (Effective Nov. 19, 2010)

1.  The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania through mandate from Federal Law now requires a fee for construction activities based on the disturbed acreage of a project. These fees are based on the following criteria: Check Check to

*This application must be completed by the applicant or their agent and submitted along with the required plan information and the required fee. Incomplete submissions will not be accepted for review.

The undersigned agrees to comply with all requirements of 25 Pa. Code 102.1 et seq., the erosion control regulations of the Department of Environmental Resources and further agrees to obtain all necessary Federal, State, County, and local permits associated with the project.

I affirm that the above referenced plan has been prepared by a person trained and experienced in Erosion & Sedimentation Pollution Control methods and techniques. The applicant also authorizes the Union County Conservation District to make site inspections as necessary.
