SQUARE DANCING
6:30 pm to 8:30 pm: Join us in the Hospitality Room as we learn the steps and enjoy some square dancing, an American institution with the “Traveling Hoe Down Square Dancers.“
Area renowned, Paul Booze of Troutville, VA and caller for the Botetourt Swingers Club and Star City Promenaders will be here to call. Paul is also a guest caller throughout Virginia and West Virginia.
50/50 – TAKE A CHANCE TO WIN BIG BUCKS
What would a rally be without 50/50? 50/50 sales will be going on throughout the evening, and drawings for the winning ticket(s) will be immediately following the light parade.
CARVED PUMPKIN CONTEST
8:3 pm: Scary, funny, creative carved jack-o-lanterns created by GWRRA participants will be there for viewing and judging as we hold our Jack-O-Lantern Contest following the square dancing. Come root for your favorite one. The contest is open to all rally participants and awards will be based on Most Original, Funniest Looking Jack-O-Lantern, and Scariest Jack-O-Lantern.
LIGHT SHOW PARADE
8:45 pm: Top off your evening with a light show, featuring the Gold Wings. Line-up for the light show will begin at 8:15.
FRIDAY NIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
7:00 pm: Join us for Friday night Ceremonies and Announcements followed by an evening of entertainment provided by our Chapters who will take you back to the days of Gilligan’s Island, Petticoat Junction, The Love Boat and the like. Laughter is the main theme of the evening as our chapters entertain you with their versions of 60-70’s sitcoms.
The concession will be open because what would TV be without popcorn, sodas, etc.
8:30 pm INTERMISSION AND ICE CREAM SOCIAL
9:30 pm Yep, it’s 50/50 time again.
