2015 is the year we can help put the pressure on our political leaders to keep their promise to ensure every child has the chance to go to school and learn.
All of us have benefited from an education. Education gives life. It offers us freedom and a better future. However, there remain 58 million children around the world who are denied the chance to go to school. They are forced out of school because of child marriage, child labour and discrimination.
I believe passionately that children have the right to go to school without danger or discrimination. Please join me and over 1.4 million others around the world and sign the #upforschool petition.

In some countries, girls are attacked for trying to go to school. I am deeply impressed by the courageous young women around the world leading the call for action on this issue. There are many ways we can help them build the world’s biggest ever petition to demand every child’s right to go to a basic education. The steps include:

2. Email your friends and family and ask them to sign it too
3. Share the petition on facebook and twitter
4. Print out the petition form and gather signatures in your community
