Make A Website Using WIX June 5 to June 9 8:30AM to 11:30AM

During this week-long workshop, students will learn how to create and publish multi page websites using the free Wix website builder tools and WordPress.com.

At the end of this workshop, students will know how to edit existing templates by adding text, images, links, headers and footers. Students will learn how to add forms, audio, video, social media buttons, a lightbox, a blog and a store.

Learn to Animate June 5 to June 9 12PM to 3PM

During this week-long workshop, students will learn to make static and animated content using Adobe Animate. At the end of this workshop, students will know how to use the drawing and type tools, work in object drawing modes, import images and work with graphics, layers and symbols, students will be able to make unique graphic illustrations and artwork. Students will also learn how to animate through frame by frame and classic motion tweening techniques and how to publish their animation to the web.

Learn to Code with HTML and CSS June 12 to June 16 8:30AM to 11:30AM

During this week-long workshop, students will learn how to create a 3 - 5 page website by hand writing instructions in HTML and CSS. Students will use free tools text editor, file management and web browser tools that are included in the MAC or PC operating system. At the end of this workshop, students will know how to add text, images, links, audio, video, maps and a calendar to a hand coded website.

Photoshop for Fun June 12 to June 16 12PM to 3PM

During this week-long workshop, students will learn to edit digital photos and create original graphics using Adobe Photoshop We will learn how to adjust color and lighting in photographs and how to do basic photograph retouching. Optimizing images for web export will also be covered. At the end of this workshop, students will know how to use selection tools, layers, type, patterns and shape tools while creating, editing and saving digital photographs and original graphics.
