Dear Savannah-Area High School Senior:
Congratulations! You have almost completed your secondary schooling and you are about to embark on the next step of your educational journey. The Savannah Trial Lawyers Association (an organization of local attorneys who represent people in civil lawsuits) is offering this partial scholarship ($1,000) to help a deserving Senior pursue their college education. This is a merit scholarship, awarded to the most deserving Senior based on academic excellence, high moral character, and positive involvement in the community. Although the scholarship is given by the Savannah Trial Lawyers Association, the successful applicant need not have any intention of attending law school. Please submit your completed application no later than May 8, 2017 for it to be considered by the scholarship committee. The scholarship will be awarded at the May 30, 2017 monthly meeting of the Savannah Trial Lawyers Association.
