EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
1990 – 1991 Admitted to Mandera Boys secondary school as a
form one but left in form two due to luck of school
fees
1993 – 1994 I rejoined secondary school named Kenya Muslim
academy after receiving a bursary fees and
finished my (0) level and awarded with Kenya
certificate of secondary education KCSE.
1982 – 1989 started basic primary education and awarded with
Kenya certificate of primary education KCPE in
Madera DEB primary school.

2011-2012,Working with ORDO(Onkod Releif &Development Organization) as Executive Director.
Specific Responsibilities
Strategic
• Drive the execution of all region’s growth strategy in collaboration with the Program Officer, the regional advisory board, and ORDO senior management team.
• Monitor, evaluate, and amend existing strategies to better position all regions for both immediate impact and long-term growth.
• Create relationships to ensure the long term sustainability of ORDO project services in the region.
Fundraising and Relationship Building
• Work with Program manager of Development and the national development team to create and implement a regional fundraising strategy, including developing and cultivating relationships with key donors and partners and ensuring that revenue goals are met across a variety of sources including foundations, corporations, government, individuals, and special events
• Ensure regional’s goal are met or exceeded annually
• Collaborate with national development team to support national fundraising efforts as appropriate
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with and increased funding from UN/International agencies.
• Steward and develop regional Board of Advisors
• Maximize opportunities for increased organizational visibility through regional media and press opportunities
Management
• Assume full management of all ORDO staff, assuring that all employees are maximizing on individual potential
• Foster a strong regional culture in the workplace aligned with Jumpstart’s core values
• Ensure operational efficiency, including administration, planning and implementation
• Oversee regional and affiliate site fiscal matters such as creating and monitoring budgets, authorizing expenses and reimbursements, and accounting for revenue
