Topic/Objectives: Unit 4 Lesson 2 in text. (pages 216-245) The objectives in Unit 4 Lesson 2 include: Describing places and events in town, talking about various types of transportation, saying what you are going to do, and ordering from a menu. These objectives are completed with the following grammar topics: using the verb “ver”, using the phrase “ir a” and an infinitive, stem changing verbs (o-> ue) and (e->i). Flags and geography of Spanish-speaking countries.

In-Class Activities: “Músicalunes” - (Music Monday) - this week’s video is a new video from Shakira and Prince Royce “Deja Vu” LizardPoint.com to review geography and flags of Spanish-speaking countries. Quizlet live sessions: review flags and geography of Latin America - Quiz next week. Presentation of 3rd person direct object pronouns - writing activity, using the irregular “yo” form of the verb “VER”. Students will create a slideshow using 10 nouns from their vocabulary list. Follow this pattern: “Here is a waiter. I see him” “Here are some eggs. I see them.” etc. Share with me when completed.
