TYPING MASTER - GENERAL CONFIGURATION
1. SCO LAUNCH TYPE [ ] Inside frame set (recommended)

Typing Master Applet will always open into a new window. Applet can be configured to close the parent window if needed.

SCORM LMS usually displays scores between 1-100 for each course (SCO) and lesson. It is usually most obvious if this score reflects to user’s net typing speed (100=100, 30 WPM = 30 SCORE...)

APPENDIX 1 – Typing Master Testing Instructions for LMS
1. Adding the new course
- Upload “Typing Master Touch Typing basics” course into LMS
- Confirm that all 13 lessons appear on LMS in right order
- Assign this new course to a blank “test student”
2. Launching the lesson 1
- Open the lesson 1. Make sure it appears on web browser
- Do not start any drill yet. Click Exit lesson button
- Typing Master popup should close itself and redirect back to LMS
- View the Java Console for possible errors. Compare to APPENDIX 2
- Check that LMS displays the valid data: “In progress”, Score 0.
3. Passing the lesson 1
- Complete the Lesson Exam - exercise 1.7 (it takes 1-2 minutes)
- Write down your Test Results (NET SPEED e.g. 17 WPM) after 1.7
- Click Exit lesson button
- Typing Master popup should close itself and redirect back to LMS
- View the Java Console for possible errors.
- Check that LMS displays valid score (e.g. 17) and status “Passed”
4. Completing whole course with the final test
- Complete each Lesson Exam (last exercise from each lesson)
- Complete the Final Test lesson
- Write down your Test Results (NET SPEED)
- Click Exit lesson button
- Typing Master popup should close itself and redirect back to LMS
- View the Java Console for possible errors.
- Check that LMS displays the valid score (e.g. 17) and status “Passed” for the whole course
