Cornflour and Water Gloop
This is brilliant but very messy! Have fun!

You will need:

· Cornflour (approx. 2 tbsps or more if you like)

· Water

· Plastic bowl

· Tray (optional)

Instructions:

Pour the cornflour into the bowl. Add small amounts of water slowly and stir it into the cornflour. It’s a good idea to use your hands to stir with so that you can tell if you have added enough water. The key is to add just enough water so that the cornflour and water mix will flow very slowly.

Activity ideas:

· Pour the mixture from hand to hand. If you move it around slowly it should pour freely.

· Roll it into a ball. If you keep rolling it, you can keep it as a ball shape. When you stop it will spread out again.

· Try pushing a small plastic toy (ie a Lego block) into the mixture. Now try getting it back out again.

· Make your hand into a fist and hit the mixture.
