Sunday June 29th - Sirius Radio’s DJ Gringo & the Stateside Revolution - 9pm
Most people go to a park, arena or club to see their first concert. Not DJ Gringo: his first show was watching the late great Dennis Brown perform in his own backyard. His dad was a turntablist and soundman, and was friends with Brown, who came over for a backyard party. This gave a young Gringo a concert experience he'll never forget! From interviews with Sly & Robbie, his work on SIRIUS radio, his djing at Sticky Mike’s and Belmont Lounge in NYC, DJ Gringo has truly done it all.
