A stainless steel strip (as above), 100mm deep and 790mm wide will provide a banner heading to the information display. Below the banner, to the left, will be the “Information” plaque, in the middle, the graphic taken from “A Normandy Beachhead” and to the right the “Nation’s Gratitude”. Each of these plaques will be B4 size - 353mm x 250mm (13.9in x 9.8in) in portrait orientation with a 20mm gap between them and a matching 20mm surrounding border. The size of the display board to accommodate the banner and the plaques will, therefore, be 830 wide and 513 deep as below (not drawn to scale). The display board will be made of oak in a design similar to the NMA plaque close to the pillbox.
