Christiane Groth, Ed.D., is a Risk Analyst with United Educators (UE), an insurance company owned by over 1,000 colleges, universities, and K-12 schools. She is responsible for developing UE publications on crisis management planning, study abroad safety, campus security and transportation safety. A sample of recent publications for UE includes:

Prior to joining United Educators, Christiane served in various positions at The College of William & Mary and Georgetown University. While serving in the President’s Office at William & Mary, she helped the College with updates to the emergency response plan and its response in the wake of September 11. At Georgetown University, she served in a development position focused on identifying new avenues of research collaboration and funding. Christiane received her B.A. and M.T. from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Ed.D. in higher education administration from William & Mary.
