Cheat Lake Results – May 22, 2016
On May 22nd, 2016 eighteen teams launched this Sunday morning. A sunny day along with murky water welcomed the anglers. As they blasted off in the quiet of the morning, many tactics would prove to be fruitful, but most anglers found the back waters to be more productive. Team Fink/Hitchens would be most successful by weigh in time. They were able to reel in 9.34 pound of bass. Following them was team Bowsher/Edge with a five fish limit weighing 8.58 pounds. Third place team of Fink/Cubbage brought in 8.54 pounds of bass, anchored by the big fish of the tournament, a 2.82 pound largemouth. Second big fish went to team Adams/Wagner with a 2.75 largemouth bass.
