California State University, Long Beach – Master of Science in Emergency Services Administration

California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) offers a Master of Science Degree in Emergency Services Administration. The program of study has been designed to prepare students for leadership roles across the broad spectrum of emergency services, and equip them to implement programs that reduce risk and vulnerabilities within their communities.

The program has been developed for both the working professional and student seeking to enter the field. The delivery of the coursework is completely online, which can accommodate a schedule requiring some degree of flexibility. The 31 unit program comprises 23 units core requirements, 6 units electives. Two options exist for the final degree completion: the professional project has a practice focus, while the research thesis is suited to a student who intends to progress to a doctoral degree.
