PUBLIC RELATIONS

1. Coordination

All public relations activities will be coordinated by the Coordinator of Athletics.

2. Positive Aspects

Coaches are expected to promote the positive aspects of team play and the abilities of individual players in their relations with the media.

3. Reporting Games

Coaches are responsible for reporting their games to the press as follows:

a. Varsity squads - home game to Boston Globe (617) 929-3285

b. Varsity squads - home game to Boston Herald (617) 426-3000

c. All games not covered by the Brockton Enterprise (508) 586-6200

4. Press Releases on Significant Stories

Varsity coaches are also responsible for releasing the election of Team Captains and other material of significance (i.e. Twins on the squad, other members of family who have played, participants with physical disabilities, etc).
