Recommended Kit List for Participants

Please pack your belongings in a Rucksack clearly labelled with your name. (Please no Binliners for Luggage)

· Sleeping bag

· Pillow

· Roll mat

· Nightwear (please include a spare jumper if they get cold at night)

· Spare clothes and underwear

· Uniform (you must travel to and from the event in uniform)

· Necker

· Wash kit (Put the spending money under the soap)

· Towel

· Torch and spare batteries

· Suncream

· Medication (clearly labelled with the person’s name and dose)

· Waterproofs

· Sun hat

· Spending money

· Walking Boots for events and trainers for in camp. Note:- No Scout will be allowed to take part in any event unless walking boots are worn

· Trainers

· 1litre water bottle per person (labelled)

· First Aid Kit with either Latex or Vynil Gloves

· Insect repelent.

· Day Sack (To be carried on events)

· Plastic bin liners (To bring home any wet clothes in)

· Tea Towel, (from past experience, don’t expect it back in the condition it was sent) Probably covered in mud or some other orrible stuff.

PLEASE ENSURE EVERYTHING THAT YOU BRING ON CAMP IS CLEARLY LABELLED WITH NAME AND GROUP


Recommended Kit List for Teams

We have provided this list as a recommendation kit list for your group. In order to ensure that we can accomodate you please inform us of the size and number of tents that you will be bringing. Note this list is per team.

· 1 suitable cooking shelter for cooking & eating (open on at least 3 sides).

· Materils to construct overnight Bivvy, full Bivvy building instructions will follow.

· Suitable tents for participants (please be aware of space restrictions)

· Strong pegs, incase of hard ground.

· Cooking stoves with gas

· NOTE, “CAMPING GAZ” STOVES OF THE PUNCTURE THE CAN VARIETY ARE NOT ALLOWED ON SITE, GAS CANS MUST BE RE-SEALABLE

· Cooking utensils

· Tables and Benches

· First Aid kit suitable to treat minor injuries

· Drying line with ropes and pegs
