There is currently a vacancy on our Governing Body for a Foundation Governor and a Parent/ Carer Governor. There are two Foundation Governors and they represent the voice of the diocese and local church in the school. If you know anyone who may be interested in this role from the local community, or would be interested in representing, please come and talk to Rev Messer or me. Parent Governors represent the voice of the parents and carers on the governing body.

Friday 24 March is Red Nose Day 2017 and we are inviting all pupils and staff to come to school dressed in red for a £1 contribution - plus a red-themed cake stall at the end of the day.

We are looking for volunteers to listen to children read in Squirrel class. This would be once a week for one hour. Could this be you?

As part of the PE curriculum, Badger Class are going swimming at RAF Honington after Easter. Please can parents and carers complete the information sheet re: confidence and ability of children swimming to help us put the children into two groups? The children will require a suitable swimming costume (not bikini or shorts) and a swimming hat.

A reminder that Y6 SATs are held in the week commencing Monday 08 May. We offer a Breakfast Club for the Y6 children.

Badger class are going to the Suffolk School Farm and Country Fair in Ipswich on Thursday 20 April – please can parents and carers return the consent letters.

Letters re: Y6 Leaver Hoodies went home last week. Please look out for these!

Due to increased costs we are raising the hourly cost of our Breakfast Club and After School Club to £4 after Easter. This is the first time that we have raised the cost since both clubs begun.

Please support the Friends as they arrange our annual Easter Coffee Afternoon on Thursday 30 March. We need eggs, cakes and people to pour tea please. The Friends have agreed to fund the two raised beds and potting shed and five new laptops! Any donations for our raised beds are very welcome.
