· Treasurer Update
o September: Total Expenditures $7,029.00
o YTD Funds Balance: $17,554.00
· Widlfire Coach:
o Cleo Nagly: Macalaster Graduate will be taking over Gold Team
· Wildfire 16U Red:
o We have coaching possibilities no applications yet
· Fundraising :
o Possible ideas-
§ Pizza Ranch
§ Cub Foods bagging groceries (Sue Zastrow may be able to get us in)
§ Club garage sale (Tom Gleason mentioned that he may be able to help host)
§ Restaurant nights (similar to Culvers night, where a % of sales go to the club)
§ Beer Bash – unsure of BAC rules around this, but could be large money maker
§ Von Hanson’s – their schedule isn’t available until January
o How are funds divided? A decision was not discussed/reached on this
o Fundraising Committee will be organized to get projects started
· High School Updates :
o Send email to all 12u girls to have themselves added to Pat Feely’s softball email list
§ Info coming soon about Junior High player clinic and weightlifting for all HS teams
· Off-season training opportunities:
o Is it possible to set something up with Kelly LaMotte again this season?
· Marketing :
o We need to find a way to get into schools and reach the elementary girls
o I’ve sent an email to Marcia about flyers, she’s looking into it with Comm. Ed.
o Email being sent to Heather LeGrand to begin Sign-Up Genius work
· 18U Wildfire update :
o Decision was made to pursue an 18U Wildfire team through the winter, they can continue to work with the 14s / 16s on training.
o Need to look for coach (at least two year term If possible) and additional player
· Budget Requests :
o Received approval to begin SportNgin implementation
§ $495 price is acceptable, but checking on discounts for multi-sport account
o Received approval to purchase Lisa Smith’s grill for $250
§ It’s the same as the one from Jeremy’s friend, but it’s new in the box
