Hydraulic Roller Camshaft Kits for Chevy and Ford
TORRANCE, CA (January 19, 2007) – Now it’s easier than ever to reap the benefits of hydraulic roller cams with complete hydraulic roller cam kits from Edelbrock. They include an Edelbrock hydraulic roller camshaft, improved hydraulic roller lifters and custom-length pushrods, all designed to work together for a trouble-free installation. These cams feature more aggressive profiles than conventional cams without excessive valve overlap and an “Everwear” distributor drive gear that is compatible with stock distributor gears. The precision self-aligning hydraulic roller lifters reduce friction, virtually eliminate break-in problems, and permit higher valve velocities for increased performance. These retro-fit lifters are designed for use in either roller or non-roller engine blocks originally equipped with conventional lifters.
Performer hydraulic roller cams for small-block Chevy match with Performer manifolds for vehicles operating from off-idle to 5500 rpm. They are smooth idling cams for daily drivers, trucks, vans, RVs and 4x4s offering a major improvement in throttle response and torque. Dyno testing has resulted in as much as a 25 horsepower gain over stock! Available for 1955-99 small-block Chevy engines.
Performer RPM hydraulic roller cams kits for small-block Chevy and 351W Ford V8s produce as much as 460 horsepower on pump gas when used with matching manifold, carb and cylinder heads as part of the Performer RPM Total Power Package.
