Re: 2nd Annual Robert Roloff Memorial Golf Outing
Dear Potential Supporter:
On behalf of the North East Wisconsin Chapter of the American Foundry Society, I am proud to announce that we are once again opening up advertising space for local businesses on the beautiful golf course at the Mascoutin Country Club, for the 2nd Annual Robert Roloff Memorial Golf Outing.
The Northeastern Wisconsin Chapter of the American Foundry Society, (NEW-AFS) is dedicated to the promotion of our industry through, education, motivation and innovation. With the strength and commitment of our members and supporters, we continually seek to improve all facets of this historical profession. One of our principal activities is to offer scholarships to college or technical school students interested in pursuing a career in the foundry industry. In August of every year, we host our NEW AFS Golf Outing, which is by far the largest means of accumulating funds towards our scholarship program. In the past 12 years, we have raised over $160,000 for this cause.
We as a board would like to offer you and your company the ability to advertise and show support for these students and this cause. From a business stance, this is an optimal way to directly advertise your company in front of over 250 golfers and potential customers in your community.
In exchange for this prime advertising space, all we ask is for a donation at one of any four levels that can be found in appendix 1. Donations that we have received in the past have ranged from: monetary, golf balls, golf bags, apparel and even specialized items including clubs, gas grills and TV’s. Gift Certificates are also a very popular item.
All donations should be sent to the attention of the below and should be received no later than August 14th.

ALL DONATION LEVELS WILL RECEIVE RECOGNITION IN OUR MEMBER MAILING SUPPORTING YOUR COMPANY NAME AND DONATION LEVEL.
HOLE SPONSORS WILL RECEIVE A COMPANY RECOGNITION SIGN ON TEE-BOX.
GOLD AND PLATINUM SPONSORS WILL RECEIVE A LARGER CUSTOMIZED SIGN LOCATED ON TEE-BOX OF THE COURSE HIGHLIGHTING THEIR DONATION LEVEL. PHOTOS OF THE SIGN IN ITS LOCATION WILL BE PROVIDED PER REQUEST.
