We do everything we can to encourage drivers to follow the rules and maximize the flow of traffic. We know your time is precious. Even more than that, we know that the safety of every single student is our primary responsibility and the most precious person to someone. Please help us to keep each person’s most precious safe.
Mrs. Rockmaker’s Music News
I am so happy to be back at Lagos teaching music this year with Ms. Kilgard! We are having fun singing, moving, using instruments and playing musical games. Students have been learning songs for our annual Patriotic Assembly on September 11th. Most students in the upper grades have started recorder play and fifth grade students have started work toward their performance scheduled for February. Interested students in grades 3-5 should keep their eyes open for music clubs that will be starting soon! I hope to have choir up and running soon for grades 3-5, along with recorder club for grades 4-5. Thank you again PTO for your purchase of a marvelous alto xylophone! Students in grades 1-3 have enjoyed using it while learning Hop Old Squirrel. Kindergarten students are enjoying singing, moving, playing rhythm sticks and games. Frequently I use puppets and stuffed animals with the songs, so if the kids come home and search for a cat, a bird or a squirrel you’ll know that it was probably a music day!
