Directions for deleting the white space around an Image

1. Select an image / photo and save it

2. Open Adobe Photoshop (Start, All Programs, Adobe)

3. File ðOpen ð (find saved picture and open)

4. Select Wand tool (single click and hold ðMagic Wand Tool)

5. With the magic wand, click in the white space ( this traces the image – Hold the Shift key and click once more inside white space in the dotted lines for a crisper image)

6. Select ð Inverse

7. Edit ð Copy

8. File ðNew (name it – make sure Background is Transparent)

9. Now you see a checkerboard. Edit ðPaste

10. File ð Save As (name it – make sure the Format is PNG)
