ü The May “pot-luck” is scheduled for Friday, 4/7, please sign-up in the main office.

ü In preparing for the upcoming spring break, I would like all teachers to assign students to continue with reading assignment (book reports that coincide with the CPS mandate of 25+ books to be read by the end of the year). It is your job to remind students that school is not over! This would also be a good time to assign projects (Classroom Projects, Small Group Projects, Research Projects etc.) to be done over the break. Be Creative!

ü Report Card Pick-Up is Wednesday, April 19, 2006. Report Cards are due in to the main office on Monday, April 17, 2006.

ü In preparing for upcoming report cards (for the 30th week), teachers should have at least 10 grades recorded in their grade books for each subject. Grade books are to be turned in with report cards. Students who are possibly failing must receive a failure notice & remediation plan. Both must be signed by the parent. The signed copy must be saved for your records
