About Jerry Causer
Jerry Causer has enjoyed a unique career. He has had a successful track record in both private and public sectors in areas including management, human resources, training, counseling, rehabilitation, and labor relations. His experience includes executive coaching as well as career transition assignments with Right Associates and Lee Hecht Harrison. He has developed and directed leadership development programs for several top companies and institutions including Texas Instruments, The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Nokia, and Ericsson.
Jerry has coached hundreds of leaders at all levels and has extensive international experience. He holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology. Having attended the University of Pittsburgh on a combination basketball - academic scholarship, he understands the value of mental and physical fitness as they relate to leadership performance. Jerry’s extensive experience as a corporate coach, counselor, and assessor led to the development of Leaderfit® to fill a crucial leadership gap which he feels has not properly been addressed.
Mr. Causer is an accomplished speaker and facilitator, having successfully trained many participants in a wide variety of topic areas. Jerry was a featured speaker at the 2002 Leadership and Productivity Institute, receiving top ratings for his presentation. He is certified by top training and development companies in numerous topic areas including leadership, communication, interviewing and selection, assessment methods, and presentation skills. Jerry’s extensive assessment experience includes certification in PDI’s Profilor 360, Myers-Briggs, DISC, Assess, FIRO-B, Life Styles Inventory, and Wilson Social Styles.
Jerry is founder and president of Leaderfit® Training and Development. He trains, speaks, consults, and coaches for several major client companies. His mission is to improve the effectiveness, resilience, and quality of life for leaders at all levels.
