1. Meeting was called to order at 12:11am by ASUAS President Semi Hastain.
2. A quorum was established.

3. Approval of minutes- Minutes from September 26, 2014 meeting were approved.

5. New Business-
A. Brittany- Treasurer report- Psychology Club has been contacted to no response; MACS Club waiting for info today; Gamma Beta Phi has a budget of $1,883.90. They have asked the University Foundation to hold their money in order to reduce service fees charged by banks; ASUAS Bookstore account balance $5,585.78, SSF-??? Esther was not available; Expenses for ASUAS for FY2015?? Michelle asked if we were going to hire a treasurer this semester; no one applying for student council and ASUAS treasurer, we as a group should think of other ways to reach people to apply for these positions. Sell the position right in order to get people to apply; Surveys got 15 responses. 93% are aware of the LRC and 33% use it. 53% should be updated; no time to use it, free internet; nice place to meet people for study sessions; updated?? Cant be updated?? Group meetings, private meeting rooms for group meetings; walls are shutting people out; paying for printing not good; security people at the desk; free coffee (pot); re-arrange offices; thermostat control.
Big thing from this survey was GROUPS.
Student Council flyers made and hung the up around campus. Students were sent an email with flyer; state goals and what needs happening within Student Council
Campus to Campus tournaments, keep Aaron’s in contact
Humanities Club-Constitution, advisor, email all information but don’t have the information to show you, which I don’t have before the meeting.
Going to all Club meetings; great ideas from all clubs; Parent Teacher Conference in Nogales; MACS Club meeting-Math Beyond-Calculus I November 10, Student Union, November 7th, Psychology Club has been a nightmare L; nobody emailed me back, does it exist? Issues with ITV for meetings. Budget request? Camy Kleese is treasurer for Psych Club; no form of contact and response;
GBP-begin thing was money being held by Foundation; Two advisors and treasurer are the only ones allowed to touch money.
Want to use Brittany for members-to send invites for induction ceremony to generate more interest in clubs and student government.
Put it to the newsletter give to Gail to advertise GBP induction ceremony
Festival of trees:
Put out through the Chamber of Commerce.
Friday from 9-7pm
Saturday from 9-12pm
Tree and lights with $100 to buy skirt and whatever else.
Go talk to organizer to see what his vision is for this. 7ft tree.
ASUAS representation/ask Huachucats for volunteers for tree decorations
B. Patty Leyva- Registration for NCLC-U of A students get discount. Apply for waiver on registration; hotel accommodations for us as a group; submit ABOR for November and conference; we may get help for Foundation for conference expenses; FY2015 proposed budget? What actual monies were received? Registration for NCLC is 260 for all four members; check for continental breakfast to be included in hotel accommodations.
C. Gayle-Hiring of treasurer-had one application and committee decided not to hire, keeping position open until filled, we must sell position better; Town hall meeting was great; feedback was positive; another town hall will be done in Spring 2015; Brittany and I are working on making website better maybe similar to Main Campus; Web developer is really slow; Cochise Cats was created separate from UofA; Both Gayle and Brittany will work on it.
D. Semi- Prices for hotels for conference Starr Pass?? NCLC free night? Brittany
Jupiter?? Add it to the computer at UofA South computer. Add all files of work for ASUAS to Jupiter
Organize files
Newsletter-continue to advertise for Treasurer Positon, publicize clubs in newsletter; meetings, etc.
Treasurer responsibilities to be added to Brittany and Patty
I do the accounting stuff
Graduate Program Student Council- GPSC- a lot to be done; he is going to help us with budget proposal; Kendall Washington to be meeting with Semi; social media. Brittany will take over since it is technically a club
Met with Dean-emergency meeting about strategic meeting, budget questions for changing stuff; where else to get money from example being used from NAU uses 23/30 and 23 dollars goes to Student Government; must know how to sell this fee.. Early stages of developing proposal
ABOR meeting November 19th Wednesday ASU, all day meeting, Thursday and come back Thursday 8-5 could go later. I will go with you.
Office supplies-email me what you want and what is needed for office
Website is taken care off
Student Council flyers? I can take care of Douglas.
Club Flyers??
Cochise College Clubs-Blake Suarez SGA President SVC. Does not have a problem with ASUAS in partnering with the SGA-SVC. Introduce UofA Psych Club to CC Psych Club.

No change on Payroll status
Subscribe to SV Chamber of Commerce we all should subscribe, check with Douglas Chamber of Commerce
Before next meeting, have a date for next Town Hall meeting.
HLC? Nogales visit and Tech Park visit
Veteran’s Luncheon for November 13th Thursday, 1200-230pm all ASUAS members will be attending.
SOP book for each position for ASUAS.
6. Concerns of Executive board/Advisor-
A. Michele-changes in pay for ASUAS stipends.
