a. Coordinator Report: Need to complete Hugs, Honor Troop & Leader awards paperwork for year end ceremony; confirm certificates can be made for bridging & end of year; check to see for any special honors for end of year - religious awards, earn all badges, etc.

c. Explorers Knife safety progressing, working on Outdoor skills & Fire Safety; can part of 21st meeting be used as Pi/Pa/Explorer grub meeting for camp?

d. Pi/Pas: Jill looking into Honor Flight dates to attend w/Explorers; May 12 Picnic w/Pathfinders at EC Lawrence park 6:15 or so to 7:45; Possible camping trip for Astronomy July 17 - 19

e. Flag ceremony working to develop Special Occasion Honor Guard; will tape flag ceremony for National on May 19 - once w/o audience, one w/audience - audience will be notified prior to entering Sanctuary

f. Registration Cherie will help Allison get new ones & new leaders ones submitted

g. Badge Can we deliver Pi/Pa leader girl's badges to the leaders at the end of the meeting? Otherwise badge sign out is closed by the time the Pi/Pa leaders get out of the meeting.

Advancement: May 19 bridging ceremony Cherie to ask around for bridge; Add part to bridge out three girls to Rachel & Allison our AHG graduates; Units have e optional meeting time after ceremony - need to let Sarah know by May 13 so announcement can be worked into ceremony script & families can be made aware - Pi/Pa's say yes, they will meet after

k. Fundraiser: Need to decide what to do with the leftover Heart & Souls chocolate (26 boxes; 36 dark chocolate bars) Sell at Pender Sat. 4-12, 9-11 a.m. during flea market

l. Social events Cherie needs to follow upon making patchs for lockin

m. Camping: May 2-4—see below for Saturday’s schedule 2 Pi/Pa's & 14 Explorers, 2 1/2 Explorer leaders - suggestion to combine all into 1 or 2 squads and consider using cabins to lighten work load. Kiersten will serve as grubmaster; Health and Safety

a. Summer camping: registration will be coming soon Camp rep willing to do info night in area; Sarah to ask around for a good date

c. Leader conference June 26 to 28: Leaders who are interested should let Sarah know; there are volunteer opportunities that would lower the registration cost, so let Kim know if you’re interested in helping out.

d. Fourth of July: Jamie Garza is working on getting a truck and flatbed trailer for our float Carolyn may have a trailer we can use; Michelle Boice & Doug Hugo have trucks; maybe work on during June 2 meeting?

5. April 21 meeting badges recognized in units; invites for Open House available to handout

6. Apr 28 remind everyone deadline for PVSA is Apr. 30 and they must enter their own hours

7. May 5 meeting deadline for awards, Open House

Troop Camping Saturday Schedule

divide into three groups: high adventure Pi/Pa/Exp - doing zip/high ropes, and maybe mountain boarding (5th grade and up); low adventure Exp. doing low ropes & other activities; Th groups doing low ropes & other activities.

Younger Kids Group One:

· 10-11 Nature Class -we can do different classes for each group if you would like

· 11-12 Hayride

· Lunch

· 1-3 Low Ropes

Older Kids Group One: 5th graders to Pi/Pa's

· 10-12 pm Zip line

· Lunch

· 1-2pm Mountain board/other?

· 2-3 pm Rockwall - prefer different activity

Older Kids Group Two (4th graders):

· 10-11am Archery ?

· 11-12 pm Rockwall

· Lunch

· 1-3 pm Low Ropes (not with youngest group)
